FAQ
The main question my clients asks themselves before engaging in coaching with me is:
Is Coaching for me?
So, let me tell you what I tell them: Coaching is an investment in yourself. It’s hard when we feel we want to be living better, we have lost our way, that life is a chore and we are not living the life we always imagined. We need to move forward with belief and focus. I help people gain clarity about what’s holding them back and then help them use techniques and strategies to make positive changes. I want to help you understand yourself better and make the right decisions based on your values, your strengths and what really matters to you.
If you hear yourself say any of the following then get in touch with me to book a discovery session, you have nothing to loose and I’m excited to get to know you.

What makes me different to other life coaches?
Every life coach is different and it’s important you find the right coach.
I am a working mum of 3 children as well as an accredited Life Coach. I did my first coaching training to coach 20 years ago and have used it throughout my career with great results.
I love coaching because I wholeheartedly believe people can create the lives they are after. When I thought about how passionate and enthusiastic the children I have taught were about their future it saddened me to think how, as adults, we can sometimes lose the way and I know I can help them find it. I love to help people.

Not one to sit back and worry I decided I would help reignite this passion, and so I found myself starting a Life Coaching course to expand this knowledge further in 2016.
When I asked friends what made me unique they said, “You walk the walk not just talk the talk”. Why? because I am dedicated myself to continually developing a strong body and mind and feeding my soul as believe these are the foundations to success. I train 6 times a week, normally with my dog or with friends. I meditate every day, have a balanced diet and really know how to have fun. Sometimes a bit too much fun! I also love eating out, travelling and fashion. I value my family and friends and am an ordinary girl who has achieved to the best of her ability. I am organised and know how to juggle and get things done. I have learnt from the best and as I am still thirsty for knowledge: I spend time every day updating my knowledge learning from today's thought leaders. I pass my knowledge to my clients so they don’t have to do the continued research.
As well as a teaching degree I have a degree in Sports Studies and have studied Nutrition and Psychology at degree level. Not forgetting the life lessons I have learnt from the many challenges I have faced.
And it is because all of this that I know I can help work on all areas of your life.
I will find out what is holding you back, help you find your vitality and help you live a happier fulfilled life.
Can I speak to you before booking to see if I want to go ahead at all?
Yes, of course. I would like to have a phone conversation with you to help you decide whether or not you’d like to go ahead.
Do I have to book a block of sessions?
Yes, initially you need to book a block of 6 months. This is a commitment to you and it will be an investment you won't regret.
What does a blocks of sessions mean?
You sign up for 6 months support. This entails 12 sessions of 60 on zoom or face to face and you get as much messaging support as you need. For some clients this is daily.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full rate - unless the reason is illness or some other extenuating circumstance.
Where do our sessions take place?
I work with my private clients in a suitable place for us both. This could mean going for a walk, a phone call or zoom session. I do prefer to work face-to-face whenever possible but I want my clients to feel relaxed so always aim to be flexible.
How does coaching differ from therapy?
This is an excellent question. Both involve confidential conversations between 2 people. The main difference is that coaching focuses mainly on the present and the future, whereas therapy often involves a lot of thinking and talking about the past.
Will there be homework?
Only if we both agree there are tasks that you could do between sessions that will be helpful.
Will I have to prepare anything before we meet?
No, not unless you want to. Basically just be prepared to talk to me about what’s important to you.
Can I contact you outside of our sessions?
Yes, by all means. It’s fine to touch base briefly between meetings. You can drop me an email or text at any point and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Is there anything that’s not OK to talk about?
No, not from my perspective. I’m happy to explore anything that’s important to you.
Are our conversations confidential?
Yes, totally.
